Local award winning pub and restaurant Pier 36 recently sponsored and hosted a fund raising dinner for Donaghadee lifeboat.
Over seventy guests enjoyed a three course meal with music provided by Purple Car who ensured the evening went with a swing.
Owners of Pier 36, the Waterworth family presented a cheque for £1500, other donations on the evening brought the total raised to £1775. Peter Irwin Donaghadee Secretary who helped to organise the evening with Lewis Waterworth, said he was delighted with the amount raised and thanked Pier 36 for their generosity and to all who supported on a very enjoyable evening.
