Lady golfers raise money for lifeboat

Ladies playing in the recent Lifeboat Trophy open day competition at Donaghadee Golf Club raised £340 in aid of the RNLI. The winner of the Trophy was Ann Harte who won on the back nine from Eleanor Alcock.

The competition was sponsored by local estate agent John Minnis whose “fore sale” signs around the course raised lots of smiles. Lady Captain Margaret McKnight said she was delighted the ladies had raised the money on behalf of the lifeboat and wished to thank John Minnis for their support.
